Lead Teacher (Infant, Toddler and Preschool)

As a Lead Teacher at La Petite Enfance Montessori School, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of students, leading teaching staff, and ensuring that high academic and developmental standards are maintained. You will be responsible for curriculum development, classroom management, and student progress evaluation, with a strong emphasis on Montessori pedagogical methods.We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual with strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of child development, and a commitment to nurturing students in a respectful and calm environment. The ideal candidate will be excited to work in a brand-new school and embrace the Montessori approach to education.

Key Responsibilities:

🌎Design and implement a dynamic curriculum that aligns with Montessori principles, tailored to the needs of each age group.

🌎 Create a calm, nurturing classroom environment, fostering respect and understanding for each child’s developmental stage.

🌎 Develop and maintain a classroom environment that encourages self-paced learning and independent development.

🌎 Guide and mentor teaching staff, promoting a collaborative and respectful atmosphere. Uphold the institution’s standards and model best practices in education.

🌎 Conduct regular observations and assessments to provide individualized progress reports for each student.

🌎 Ensure readiness for emergencies by practicing evacuation drills with the school team and maintaining situational awareness.

🌎 Attend to children in distress with a calm, knowledgeable approach, ensuring their emotional needs are met and redirected as necessary.

🌎 Follow and uphold the school’s daily routine and yearly schedule, ensuring consistency in the educational environment.

Qualifications:

- Must have an EEC (Early Education and Care) certification

- Strong commitment to the Montessori method and child-led learning.

- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

- Proven ability to create a calm and structured classroom atmosphere.

- Experience in curriculum planning and classroom leadership.

- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
